Provincial Thespian Officers

Students that have demonstrated that they are exemplary Thespian members and leaders have the opportunity to become Provincial Thespian Officers. Thespian Officers are the voice of all of the students currently in the B.C Chapter and will play an active leadership role in the Chapter by planning Chapter events and advising The Board of Directors on student needs.

Students interested in becoming a Provincial Thespian Officers can apply for the fallowing positions:
  • Chair (President)
  • Vice Chair (Vice President) - must be a grade 10 student
  • Outreach Manager
  • Communications Director
  • Encore
  • Performance Appreciation/Celebration
  • Hospitality
  • Tech

Eligibility
  • A maximum of 2 students per troupe may run for a PTO position
  • Must be in an active ITS Troupe
  • Must be in grade 10 or 11 at the time of their application
  • Must attend at least 2 meeting a year as well as the annual BC Provincial Thespian Festival
  • Must participate in the leadership training workshop during the Provincial Thespian Festival
  • Your troupe director must agree to actively serve on the BC Thespians Adult Board

Applications open on January 1st 2021 and are due on February 15th 2021
